Minnesota High School Soccer - Academy of Holy Angels knocks off Minnehaha Academy
September 30, 2023: Minneapolis, MN 55406 Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stars confront the Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Academy of Holy Angels will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN).
The Red Hawks now possess a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Croix Lutheran for a Class A Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Minnehaha Academy will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 2-1 league win over Nova Classical Academy (St. Paul, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-6.
