New York High School Soccer - West Genesee knocks off Auburn
September 30, 2023: Auburn, NY 13021 West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Auburn Maroons (Auburn, NY), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Liverpool Warriors (Liverpool, NY) in a SCAC Metro challenge, on Thursday, October 5. West Genesee will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY).
The Maroons now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mynderse Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. Auburn will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-0 league win over Wayne (Ontario Center, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-1.
