Colorado High School Soccer - Telluride knocks off Montezuma-Cortez
September 30, 2023: Cortez, CO 81321 Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Miners confront the Colorado Rocky Mountain Oysters (Carbondale, CO) in a 2A Intermountain challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Telluride will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Oysters enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Aspen (Aspen, CO).
The Panthers now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Junction Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6.
