September 30, 2023: Christiansburg, VA 24073 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) and the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), saw Christiansburg's volleyball squad beat Abingdon by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Christiansburg upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Blue Demons host Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Tunstall won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)
The Falcons now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. Abingdon will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-2.
