September 30, 2023: Ashland, OR 97520 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) and the host Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR), saw Shasta's volleyball squad nip Ashland by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Shasta upgrades its record to 18-12 on the year. The Wolves host Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA) to play the Spartans in a Eastern bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-20. Red Bluff lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Chico (Chico, CA)
The Grizzlies now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Thurston for a 5A Midwestern bout on Tuesday, October 3. Ashland will play a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Colts record now stands at 12-4.
