September 30, 2023: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the host Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI), saw Chippewa Valley's volleyball squad beat Avondale by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Chippewa Valley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Big Reds travel to Oxford (Oxford, MI) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Oxford lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI)
The Yellowjackets now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host North Farmington for a Oakland - White bout on Tuesday, October 3. Avondale will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Groves (Beverly Hills, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 12-10.
