September 30, 2023: Melrose, NM 88124 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) and the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), saw Melrose's volleyball squad nip Clovis by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Melrose upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Buffaloes host Texico (Texico, NM) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 9-2.
The Wildcats now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Portales for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. Clovis will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Texico (Texico, NM). The Rams record now stands at 9-2.
