September 30, 2023: Pleasantville, IA 50225 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) and the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), saw Pleasantville's volleyball squad beat Colfax-Mingo by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Pleasantville upgrades its record to 22-9 on the year. The Trojans host Earlham (Earlham, IA) to play the Cardinals in a West Central bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 12-7.
The Tigerhawks now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to English Valleys for a South Iowa Cedar bout on Monday, October 2. Colfax-Mingo will play a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over New London (New London, IA). The Bears record now stands at 11-11.
