In Saturday's non-league contest, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs (Dallas Center, IA) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Mustangs face the Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) in a Little Hawkeye contest, on Tuesday, October 3. Dallas Center-Grimes will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 17-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA).
