September 30, 2023: Mt. Vernon, IL 62864 The Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) volleyball tipped the host Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Lutheran upgrades its record to 9-18 on the year. The Crusaders host Richland County (Olney, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 30. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 6-11. Richland County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)
The Rams now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league outing on Monday, October 2. Mt. Vernon will play a Golden Aces squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Richland County (Olney, IL). The Golden Aces record now stands at 12-7.
