September 30, 2023: Winfield, IA 52659 The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves volleyball team (Winfield, IA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA)
The Golden Hawks (23-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals come into the River Valley South challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Regina went down by Lisbon (Lisbon, IA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolves encounter the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Winfield-Mt. Union will attempt to move on its 15-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wapello (Wapello, IA).
