September 30, 2024: Burbank, CA 91505 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the host Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA), observed Burroughs's volleyball team top Providence by a tally of 2-0.
The Bears (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pasadena (Pasadena, CA). The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Pasadena beat Monrovia (Monrovia, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Pioneers meet the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Kares enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Duarte (Duarte, CA).
