California High School Flag Football - St. Mary's Academy sneaks past Serra

September 30, 2024: Inglewood, CA 90301

The St. Mary's Academy Belles flag football squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting Serra Cavaliers to 19 in the Belles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Belles now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Saint Joseph for a test on Wednesday, October 2. St. Mary's Academy will meet a Jesters squad coming off a 41-13 league win over Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Jesters record now stands at 14-0.

With the defeat, Serra drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to meet the Swordsmen in a test on Wednesday, October 2. The Swordsmen come into the test with a record of 3-8. St. Paul lost 18-6 in their recent league test against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA)
