Kentucky High School Soccer - Somerset knocks off Clinton County
September 30, 2024: Albany, KY 42602 The Somerset Briar Jumpers soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Clinton County Bulldogs to 1 in the Briar Jumpers non-league victory on Monday.
The Briar Jumpers now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. Somerset will play a Patriots squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Clinton County moves to 6-11 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Wayne County lost 8-2 in their recent non-league bout against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)
