Indiana High School Soccer - Plainfield knocks off Decatur Central
September 30, 2024: Plainfield, IN 46168 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) and the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), saw Plainfield's soccer squad triumph over Decatur Central by a count of 9-0.
The Quakers (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin Community (Franklin, IN). The Grizzly Cubs enter the Mid-State battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Franklin Community notched a victory over Southport (Indianapolis, IN), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Greenwood Woodmen (Greenwood, IN) in a Mid-State battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Decatur Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Woodmen enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Indy Genesis HomeSchool (Greenwood, IN).
