Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Pocono Mountain West toppled by Lehighton
September 30, 2024: Pocono Summit, PA 18346 Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lehighton advances its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Indians host Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA) to clash with the Green Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Green Knights come into the test with a record of 4-9. Pen Argyl won 1-0 in their recent league test against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA)
The Panthers now have a 0-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkland for a Eastern Penn test on Tuesday, October 1. Pocono Mountain West will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-2 non-league Council Rock South (Holland, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-1.
