Virginia High School Soccer - Seton nudged by Bishop Ireton
September 30, 2024: Alexandria, VA 22314 The Bishop Ireton Cardinals held off the visiting Seton Conquistadors soccer team by a tally of 5-4 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals face the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) game, on Tuesday, October 1. Bishop Ireton will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Cadets come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD).
The Conquistadors (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA). The Tempest come into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Trinity at Meadow View edged King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
