September 30, 2024: Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ) and the host Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ), saw Middle Township's soccer squad hold off Cedar Creek by a score of 1-0.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Absegami (Galloway, NJ). The Braves enter the Cape/Atlantic - National battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Absegami was edged by Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National battle, on Thursday, October 3. Cedar Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Vineland (Vineland, NJ).
