Illinois High School Soccer - Peoria Christian knocks off Roanoke-Benson/Eureka
September 30, 2024: Eureka, IL 61561 In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Peoria Christian Chargers soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Roanoke-Benson/Eureka Rockets.
The Chargers (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Illini Bluffs prevailed over Macomb (Macomb, IL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Rockets confront the DePue/Hall Little Giants (DePue, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 3. Roanoke-Benson/Eureka will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Little Giants go into the outing with a 5-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL).
