Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Reading nudges William Penn
September 30, 2024: York, PA 17403 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) and the host William Penn Bearcats (York, PA), saw Reading's soccer squad hold off William Penn by a count of 3-2.
The Red KNights (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Muhls enter the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Muhlenberg was edged by Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Spring Grove Rockets (Spring Grove, PA) in a York-Adams 1 battle, on Tuesday, October 1. William Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 4-3 league win over South Western (Hanover, PA).
