Oklahoma High School Softball - Newcastle bounces Little Axe
September 30, 2024: Newcastle, OK 73065 The Newcastle Racers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Little Axe Indians to 0 in the Racers non-league win on Monday.
The Racers now sport a 22-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. Newcastle will confront a Owls team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK). The Owls record now stands at 16-18.
With the loss, Little Axe moves to 10-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Lindsay (Lindsay, OK) to confront the Leopards in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Leopards come into the battle with a record of 23-6. Lindsay won 7-2 in their recent non-league battle against Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK)
