September 30, 2024: Browerville, MN 56438 Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Nevis improves its record to 7-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN) to face the Wolves in a Northwoods test on Thursday, October 3. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 8-11. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Swanville (Swanville, MN)
The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Browerville will face a Thunder squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Osakis (Osakis, MN). The Thunder record now stands at 2-9.
