In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Corbin Redhounds volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Pulaski County Maroons.

The Redhounds (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels come into the District 50 challenge with a 13-4 record.

Next, the Maroons meet the Somerset Christian Cougars (Somerset, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Pulaski County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Southwestern (Somerset, KY).
