The Trinity Bulldogs volleyball squad (Trinity, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC)

With the win, Cornerstone Charter improves its record to 14-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a Northwest Piedmont 1A battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a record of 4-10. Carver won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Grove for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, October 1. Trinity will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-10.
