September 30, 2024: Richmond, VA 23234 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) and the host Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), observed John Marshall's volleyball team top Meadowbrook by a count of 3-1.
The Justices (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks enter the Colonial contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Freeman notched a victory over J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Monarchs meet the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Meadowbrook will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Colonials enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
