September 30, 2025: Aztec, NM 87410 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) and the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), observed Grants's volleyball team top Aztec by a count of 2-0.
The Pirates (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Valencia was knocked off by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Tigers battle the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 2. Aztec will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Pintos go into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Estancia (Estancia, NM).
