Spectators at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) and the visiting Arizona College Prep Knights (Chandler, AZ), saw Casa Grande's flag football team nip Arizona College Prep by a final score of 10-7.

With the win, Casa Grande advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars host Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ) to encounter the Colts in a 5A Southern bout on Thursday, October 2. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Buena won 23-13 in their recent non-league match against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A San Tan match, on Thursday, October 2. Arizona College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pride enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ).
