September 30, 2025: San Jose, CA 95148 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) and the host Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA), witnessed Mt. Pleasant's flag football squad knock off Evergreen Valley by a tally of 33-24.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Homestead gained a win over MacDonald (San Jose, CA), 20-6, in a league bout.
The Cougars now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 15.
