The Stags now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's Ryken for a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge on Tuesday, October 7. DeMatha will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to The Heights (Potomac, MD). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Paul VI moves to 1-3 on the year. The Panthers host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to encounter the Eagles in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Gonzaga won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)
