Ohio High School Soccer - West nudges Genoa Christian Academy
September 30, 2025: Westerville, OH 43082 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the West Cowboys (Columbus, OH) and the host Genoa Christian Academy (Westerville, OH), saw West's soccer squad hold off Genoa Christian Academy by a count of 2-1.
The Cowboys (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Columbus International (Columbus, OH). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Columbus International nipped South (Columbus, OH), 8-0, in a non-league match.
The now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton Township for a non-league match on Thursday, October 2. Genoa Christian Academy will meet a Rangers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 9-2.
