Delaware High School Soccer - Glasgow knocks off Mount Pleasant
September 30, 2025: Newark, DE 19702 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE) and the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), saw Glasgow's soccer squad triumph over Mount Pleasant by a count of 5-0.
The Dragons (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Red Lion Christian Academy nipped St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Green Knights now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. Mount Pleasant will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
