In Tuesday's league outing, the host Herscher Tigers soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers go into the Illinois Central Eight outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Coal City was overwhelmed by Peotone (Peotone, IL), 1-0, in a league test.

The Comets now have a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they host Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Reed-Custer will clash with a Bunnies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Bunnies record now stands at 8-6.
