West Virginia High School Soccer - Sissonville toppled by Point Pleasant
September 30, 2025: Point Pleasant, WV 25550 Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Point Pleasant advances its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Big Blacks host Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to play the Flying Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. The Flying Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Woodrow Wilson won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)
With the loss, Sissonville moves to 8-7 on the year. The Indians travel to Poca (Poca, WV) to play the The Dots in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. The The Dots go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Poca lost 8-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sherman (Seth, WV)
