September 30, 2025: Gainesville, GA 30507 Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cedar Shoals improves its record to 6-16 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Lions go into the test with a record of 20-13. Franklin County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
The Knights now own a 4-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Area for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Johnson will encounter a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 14-27.
