The Central Dragons volleyball squad (Martinsburg, PA), was knocked off 3-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA)

The Lions (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Bellwood-Antis was knocked off by Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Dragons meet the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 2. Central will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 22-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA).
