September 30, 2025: Maple Lake, MN 55358 Maple Lake Irish (Maple Lake, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maple Lake improves its record to 6-10 on the season. The Irish host Holdingford (Holdingford, MN) to face the Huskers in a Central Minnesota test on Thursday, October 2. The Huskers go into the test with a record of 5-11. Holdingford lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Royalton (Royalton, MN)
The Dragons now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. Litchfield will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 6-6.
