In Tuesday's league bout, the Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) volleyball team held off the host Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Hawks now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they host St. Joseph-Ogden for a Illini Prairie match on Thursday, October 2. Prairie Central will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 7-13.
