South Dakota High School Volleyball - Standing Rock over Wakpala
September 30, 2025: Wakpala, SD 57658 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) and the host Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD), observed Standing Rock's volleyball team top Wakpala by a count of 3-0.
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wilton/Wing (Wilton, ND). The Miners enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Wilton/Wing was knocked off by Trenton (Trenton, ND), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Sioux battle the North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) in a B Region 6 contest, on Thursday, October 16. Wakpala will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
