Illinois High School Volleyball - Chicago Christian can't hold off Yorkville
September 4, 2021: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Chicago Christian Knights volleyball team (Palos Heights, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL)
The Foxes (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers come into the Southwest Prairie challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Oswego nudged Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) in a Metro Suburban Blue test, on Tuesday, September 7. Chicago Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Chargers enter the test with a 6-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL).
