California High School Flag Football - Canyon can't hold off Sonora

September 4, 2024: La Habra, CA 90631

Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), 7-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Sonora improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Raiders host California (Whittier, CA) to play the Condors in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 11. The Condors go into the battle with a record of 6-2.

The Comanches now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. Canyon will play a Golden Hawks team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Valencia (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 4-3.
