September 4, 2024: Shelbyville, KY 40065 Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Model Patriots (Richmond, KY), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Shelby County advances its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 8-1.
The Patriots now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Grant County for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Model will clash with a Braves team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Braves record now stands at 2-3.
