North Carolina High School Volleyball - Franklinton can't get by Wakefield
September 4, 2024: Franklinton, NC 27525 Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wakefield improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC) to face the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 3-4. Athens Drive lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)
The Rams now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rolesville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Franklinton will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Jordan (Durham, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-4.
