Georgia High School Softball - Ware County topped by Coffee
September 4, 2024: Douglas, GA 31533 Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Coffee improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Trojans host Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Thursday, September 5. The Bears enter the game with a record of 7-6. Pierce County won 10-5 in their recent non-league game against Charlton County (Folkston, GA)
The Gators now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Troup County for a non-league game on Saturday, September 7. Ware County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
