Georgia High School Softball - South Gwinnett drops to Norcross
September 4, 2024: Norcross, GA 30092 Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), 18-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Norcross improves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Region 7 game on Thursday, September 5. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 8-4. North Gwinnett won 8-0 in their recent league game against Duluth (Duluth, GA)
The Comets now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Archer for a 6A Region 4 game on Monday, September 9. South Gwinnett will play a Tigers squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-2.
