September 4, 2024: Henrico, VA 23294 J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, J.R. Tucker improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers host Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA) to face the Springers in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Springers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Highland Springs lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA)
The Blue Devils now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a Capital test on Thursday, September 5. Varina will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
