September 4, 2024: Pewamo, MI 48873 Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lansing Christian Pilgrims (Lansing, MI), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Pewamo-Westphalia improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to St. Patrick (Portland, MI) to face the Shamrocks in a Central Michigan test on Wednesday, September 11. The Shamrocks go into the test with a record of 0-4.
The Pilgrims now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsdale Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Lansing Christian will face a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI). The Colts record now stands at 8-2.
