September 4, 2025: Hampton, VA 23663 The Gloucester Dukes prevailed the host Phoebus Phantoms volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Dukes confront the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 8. Gloucester will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
The Phantoms (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Bethel (Hampton, VA). The Bruins enter the Peninsula game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Bethel defeated Heritage (Newport News, VA), 3-2, in a league outing.
