In Thursday's non-league outing, the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) football squad trounced the visiting Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA), by a margin of 41-7.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pioneer Valley for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Kennedy will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 42-13 non-league loss to Nipomo (Nipomo, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Highland drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Scots host Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12.
