The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) and the host Lakeview Centennial Patriots (Garland, TX), witnessed McKinney's football squad knock off Lakeview Centennial by a tally of 28-14.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Plano (Plano, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 6 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Plano gained a win over Richardson (Richardson, TX), 10-7, in a non-league contest.
