September 4, 2025: Mansfield, MA 02048 Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting King Philip Regional Warriors (Wrentham, MA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sharon (Sharon, MA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Sharon got by Stoughton (Stoughton, MA), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 8. King Philip Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
